VENNART, together with artist Prageeth Manohansa, offers a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) program for his previously sold paintings and sculptures, free of charge to owners of an original work.
How this authenticates your piece
Each certified work is entered in VENNART's permanent register, cross-checked directly with Prageeth Manohansa before it is logged. The piece is recorded together with photographs of the work, its signature, and evidence of your ownership, and is given two unique identifiers:
A COA number, printed on the certificate you receive.
A separate verification number, which anyone can use to confirm the work is on our register, without revealing any of your personal details.
This means a certificate cannot simply be written out for any piece — it only exists because the specific work was reviewed, matched against the artist's own record of his work, and formally logged. A prospective buyer or a future owner can use the verification number at any time to confirm the piece is genuinely on file with VENNART.
How it works
Send us clear photographs of your piece — the full work, a close-up of the signature, and a photo of yourself with it.
Prageeth Manohansa and VENNART review and confirm the work, along with whatever details you can share about it (approximate date and circumstances of acquisition).
The piece is logged in our register and given a COA number and verification number.
A certificate confirming the work is logged and identified as an original is posted to you, free of charge.
