The Symmetrical Seed

Artist: Anju Perera
Medium: Acrylic on canvas
Size: 30 cm diameter (round)
Year: 2026
Framing: Framed

The Symmetrical Seed pairs two mirrored seed pods, their black surfaces netted in fine white lines, circling a centre of concentric dotted rings in white, black and gold. The quiet sand-coloured ground lets the rhythm of the dots and the balance of the two forms carry the piece.
