A spirit caught mid motion.

Not quite a horse, not quite smoke.. 
a creature born from shadow and breath.
Its body is only half there,
as if the wind itself tried to remember
what freedom looks like
and sketched it in charcoal.

The lines are restless,
breaking, dissolving, returning again.. 
like thoughts that refuse to stay still.
Dark strokes gather around the head and mane,
spilling backward into the air
like a storm unraveling.

The body is soft, almost fading,
as if the animal is made more of feeling
than flesh.
Power without weight.
Movement without sound.

It feels less like a drawing
and more like a moment.. 
the instant between stillness and escape,
when something wild decides
it will never be held.
